I am building my first true gaming PC. My last PC died and I am going into gaming withdraws.
My budget is about $700 to get me gaming again. That not much. So I was looking at spending My money on a good Mobo, PSU, Monitor, Case and GPU. Saving my money on the things I can upgrade later.

1.Anyone have this Mobo? How do you like it? Any problems with the layout?
2. Any comments on CrossFireX will help got the basic idea.
3. 2 PCIe 2.0 x16 Slots (blue@ x16 mode, black@ x4 mode) I am guesing Blue@ x 16 is for the GPU? But what is black@ x4 mode.
4. any other Mobo I should look at.

I just bought this board myself for my first build. I have only had it for two days but so far so good. I had no problem with the layout but I am only using the 16x pci express slot for a single 460gtx card.

About the crossfire, I think it will do it with one card in the 16x and one in the 4x but I don't know how much the 4x slot would hamper performance. I just plan on using a single card so I wasn't too worried about it.
