Asus Monitor Flickering?

ive got a asus vh242h 24" gaming monitor. When you turn it on, screen flickers slightly, mostly in the bottom left. its not really cad, but can give you a headache. im wondering what this is, my monitor is less than a year old.

it used to flicker for around 10 mins or more, but now it seems to keep getting longer.

any one help?
 
Also, i bought the monitor off amazon, should i email them and ask them for a replacement if this is a fault?
 
You probably have to change your Screen Refresh Rate. What is it at the moment?

Also just a side note: On your PC specs signature below i think for your GPU it should say Vapor-X instead of Vapour-X. :)
 
Usually that's what the problem is but not sure about you. I had the same problem and the way i fixed it was with the refresh rate.
