Asus motherboard processor compatibility.

I have an ASUS P5G41-M LE/CSM motherboard and I had stumbled upon a cheap, refurbished processor (Xeon quad 3.0 ghz) and I was wondering if it is compatible for my motherboard. I believe my motherboard fits LGA 775. I know I should have looked at the socket type for the Xeon but I was in kind of a time crunch so I had to leave the store.

Your board doesn't support the xeon processors, usually only server motherboards do.

Yeah I thought about that but I remember that my dad had 2 xeon processors in his Mac desktop. I was just hoping that my motherboard supported it in desperation...heheh.
