Asus N550JX-DS71T vs. Asus X550JX-DB71

So both laptops have the Intel i7 4th Gen 4720 HQ 2.6 gHz, 8 GB RAM, and Nvidia 950M graphics. There is about a $100 differences between the two...

-The first (N550) is $930 but comes with an aluminum chassis, subwoofer on the side, back-lit keyboard, glossy screen, touch screen and upgradeable RAM to 16 GB

-The second (X550) is $830 but is plastic, anti-glare screen, no touch screen and non upgradeable RAM

Looking for a cheap gaming laptop but I am not sure whether the price savings outweigh the benefits here. I am leaning towards on the $930 one, but would like a second opinion.

I'd take the RAM expansion for longevity.

The N series is probably a bit better made. My X550 feels well made enough, but it's definitely a bit on the plasticky side.
