thanks a head....

What Operating system did it come installed with and what Operating system are you trying to install on it?

it came with window 7 home premium 64 bit.
i am trying to install (acually allready installed, but not loading) windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.

no , i only format the partition that old windows was on, and installed the new windows there. do you think to delete and recreate this partition can solve my problem?

ohhh , i noticed something i did not notice before. the is an other partition , partition 0 - called recovery. could it be it? should i format and delete this partition?

sorry i give this info only now, but i did not notice it before /:

PROBLEM SOLVED

i deleted partitions, made new partitions , install win 7 , and all all work correctly.
lot of thanks to johnb35 for you help....

Your welcome and sorry for not replying back earlier. The recovery partition held all the data for the installed OS that it came with. You will now no longer be able to go back to the old Operating system unless you have made recovery media for it or purchase recovery cd's from Asus.
