I have the Asus P5K Deluxe WiFi edition and when the WiFi is enabled the internet connection icon comes up in the tray but so does a "safely remove hardware" icon for it. Is there a way i can have it so it just comes up and theres no safely remove hardware icon. Like its always installed so i cant remove the hardware??
 
Yea theres a way. Right click on your taskbar-Properties-Check Hide inactive icons-Click Customize-And set Safetly remove hardware icon to Always Hide.
 
That won't work. That'll just make it disappear when the task bar collapses unused icons, i.e. it will still exist there when the left-right arrow jigger is clicked.

What exactly is "WiFi" about this particular board? Does it have an onboard wifi card?
 
yes, it has an onboard wireless card....and frankly speaking, I just purchased one and its the best board I've ever owned.

I'm never buying a board without jumper-free bios again.

I agree i've been using my P5K deluxe for about 6 months or so and its an awesome board, best board ive used. Its a good overclocker to.

Can you explain that more? I'm still a little in the dark about jumpers and what to do with them.

With many of the new motherboards they are "jumper free", meaning that if someone sets an incorrect setting in the BIOS it will reset automatically, instead of needing to manually clearing the BIOS by using the jumper.
