Asus P5K3 Deluxe Motherboard Question!!

I just bougth this motherboard and now im trying to install a fresh copy of my windows xp media center edition on. What do i do to make it boot the dvd player. on my old dell xps it was F12 to give options to boot.

DOES IT MATTER IF THE WINDOWS XP MEDIA CENTER EDITION IS FROM DELL?

what option is it for this motherboard? and if you have this motherboard what do i do from there on?

it does not mater where you got the MCE as long as the disk is bottable (if its a retail copy then it is, if its burned then you needed to burn it as a bootable image)

to get the mobo to boot from CD you can try to find the F option for it. its F8 or F9 for me I forget, I just hit them both.. but it should be in you manual..

but if that does not work, then just go into bios and chose your cd drive as the first boot devide, then once its done, change it back to hard drive.. that will work for sure.. but it would be good to find out the F key for boot menu.

Go into bios and select "Advanced BIOS Features"--"First Boot Device"--"CDROM",then press F10 to save and restart.
