Okay, so I bet a couple of you guys have already heard about how I'm overclocking a Pentium 4 520 for fun. I'm using an Asus P5PL2 mobo, the rev 1 version. It's a 2.8GHz Prescott CPU with an E0 stepping, and I bet I can get it to almost 4GHz, but my motherboard only lets my go up to 1.55v VCore.
The stock is 1.425v. It's an old BIOS so do you think a BIOS update might extend the VCore range? Any thoughts are appreciated.
