ASUS P5QL and ram at 1066mhz?

Has anyone got an ASUS P5QL motherboard successfully running more
than 2GB of ram at 1066mhz, or more than 1 stick of ram at 1066mhz?

I am having difficulty setting my ram to 1066mhz. It will work at 800mhz
with 2x2GB, and it will work with 1 stick at 1066mhz, but with both sticks
at 1066mhz it is unstable.

The only settings I change at Ram Frequency to 1066mhz, and Ram
Voltage to 2.20V.

Anyone have a suggestion?

ASUS P5QL can have ram overclocked to 1200mhz, and 1066mhz is a
standard non-overclock setting. It has 4 slots for ram, and can support
a total of 16GB of DDR2 ram.

I have that mainboard but I'm using 800 mhz RAM. The only suggestion I can make is to reset the BIOS to default.

change up the timings. you might have gotten unlucky and need to loosen your timings a bit more than the product description says.

If you look in the Newegg "reviews" for this board, tons of other people are having the same problem, so you're not just unlucky.
