I'm going for a build here that will be black/blue, and I really like the color scheme of the gigabyte board. But seeing as they have very similar features, is the UD3P worth the extra money?

well honestly your decision truly depends on your preference in this metter. they are both great compony and none the less both are top class motherboard so it will be like choosing heads or tales on coin.

which P8P67 are you planning on getting if not gigabyte.

gigabyte has solid future with extra PCB, i honestly like back panel as plenty of open area with space between USBs, but their future of Esata/USB combo is not in this mobo so no esata at all on that computer.

Just the plain old P8P67.

Out of those two,Id probably choose the Gigabyte...just personal preference though.

i would go for the gigabyte, but that's just personal preference as I have almost the same board in my build.
