ASUS VH242HL-P vs VH236HL-P

Hello friends..
I am new here and looking at buying a new 23 inch LCD monitor with built in speakers for my home office. After going through some reviews I have narrowed down to ASUS VH242HL-P and ASUS VH236HL-P. Both have almost similar specifications, price and available at Newegg.com with smart discount offers available at http://www.dealrocker.com. I don't have much knowledge about LCD monitors, so I need your advice to buy the best one. BTW I gonna use it for general purpose.
If anyone can help me I would appreciate it.

Either one will do fine for general purpose. The only difference is one has a 5ms response time and the other has a 2ms response time. You will not notice much of a difference unless you do alot of hardcore gaming. So with that being said, I'd go for the VH242HL-P because it's slightly bigger.
