asus vs. toshiba

Hello all this is my first post on the forum I am wondering if anyone can give me an expert opinion on a laptop purchase.

I am deciding between an Asus a55a-ah31 with a Intel Core i3-3110M 2.4 GHz processor with 3 mb of L3 cashe, FOR $429. on amazon

OR a Toshiba c855-s5350 with an Intel® Pentium® B980 2.4GHz 2MB L3 Cache Processor FOR $405 . from staples

I am leaning towards the asus I think they have a better reputation and the asus has 3mb L2 as opposed to 2 mb of L2 which I think makes the Asus a little faster.

And the asus has a bigger storage drive 750 AS OPPOSED TO 640. Any advise would be appreciated

The Asus is better than the toshiba. The RAM is most important and the i3 is a good quality contrary to the Pentium® .
