Asus's Physx card

I am aware that asus are working on a 256mb version of the aegia card. I was wondering, which type of slot will this take? I'm hoping and assuming it'll take a pci slot, and not pci-e.

You're welcome to argue amongst yourselves over this card, but please answer the question first.

It'll probably also be PCI... Or they might try both PCIe and plain ol' PCI.

Oh, and how much RAM does the original Physx card have? I never saw the specs on it...

pci-e... which slot? ive got an extra X1 slot and an extra X16 slot (even though its only X16 compatible, its actually got 8 lanes)
and if im not correct in saying so... wouldnt the pci-e X1 slot be as good as a regular pci slot? or less?

Is there likely to be any new chipsets/mobos, supporting more pci paths/slots, for the AMD socket? Once AMD2 comes out, AMD X2's should drop in price, making it more attractive to stick with it, but it'd be nice if there was a chipset/mobo that could handle 2 1900xt's and a pci-x16 slot Physx card (they're bound to develop this far eventually).

There's PCI Express 1x, 4x, 8x, and 16x. I also saw something about 32x, but I've not seen any motherboards or cards supporting that. Eh, is there a 2x as well?

Anyway, PCI Express 1x and plain old PCI aren't that different in speeds, if I remember correctly.
