ASX for wmp

my media player 9.0 wont play the video in an asx file it only plays the sound anyone know whats wrong. it worked before with the same file. i tried reinstaling it but same thing hapens?

i have win2k not xp. and it worked before so it's some thing else

you probably don't have the video codec required for the video component. although I don't know which one you might need. there are lots of them that create the same file extension

i think it might be a software conflict but i dont knowwich one because i can't look at wmv clips on the internet(like mtv.com or ifilm.com) does anyone have a list of posible software please help.
