Athalon xp 2400 against amd 64 2800?

I havd a athalon xp 2400 and I wanting to know if I move to a amd 64 2800 will I see a huge improvement on speed and performance?

Yes, you will. But it will mean upgrading your mobo aswell.

2. Twice the L2 on the A64

Yeah I seen that 1.8 and it kind of worried me for the simple fact thta I am shooting for much greater speed .....I had to keep it within a budget
