What are the specs on a Athlon (not XP) 2400 CPU? When I sherch I keep getting XP results. and AMD's website dosn't have it.

What would be a good price to sell a used one for? I want to sell it.

errrm nothing as its an old chip ...

I know many people who would buy that chip. i dont know 50$ or not. but it can definatly be sold, i just sold one of me 1200MHZ AMD DURON chips.

And i saw the Athlon then 2400 after itso i assumed that's what it was... But its a Athlon XP 1800 any Specs on that? and Price of that? I also have one that i don't feel like pluging in but it looks the same and the clock speed is 1300Mhz, and the 1800+ is 1500Mhz so irs prabaly like 1500 or something.

They never made an Athlon past 1.4GHz. After that it was the XP and MP... There's the Athlon4, but isn't that a mobile processor? And I still didn't think it got over 1.4

Don't forget the 200MHz FSB one ;P But yeah, that's as fast as they go. I should know because I was sure to purchase it for my last computer ;) *points to backup computer :P *

Yeah i found out it wasn't a athlon 2400 like i thought it was an XP 1800 then i have another one that is an XP and is 1.3Ghz but i dont know imodel it is.

What 200MHz FSB one? If you mean an Athlon class one ... it doesnt exist. If it does, provide an OPN for it :P

Well the closest is an AthlonXP 1500+
Name: Athlon XP 1500+
Core: Palomino
PR: 1500+
FSB: 133MHz
Multiplier = 10.0
Interface : 462pin
Vcore = 1.75w
Max temp = 90ºC

There are programs like CPU-Z that'll tell you exactly what you have...
For AMD procs, Central Brain identifier does a better job (rather gives a world more of info)

Oh yes, one exists... It's rather rare, but there's one out there. I had one for a bit, but I damanged my KT7E mobo when trying to removet he fan so I upgraded to a KT7A and upgraded to a 266MHz version.
