Judging GPUreivew.com I'd say the HD4870 would be a nice jump from the HD3870 :rolleyes:

Just kidding, I know it's not a "waste" but I just don't think it's worth the extra $$$

$199? wow, that sounds like hell of a deal. Especially if going dual cards...

Maybe i can work my butt off and grab a couple 4870s :P
 
It looks like the 4850 is a bit better then the 3870, but then again they cost about $60-$70 more, so I guess that makes sense.
 
Yeah, i guess you get what you pay for :)

I really don't know why i want to upgrade.. this single card plays all my games perfectly, let alone when i had crossfire. But, i guess I'm a benchmark junkie :(
