I got this computer from the internet, and to my suprise I opened it up and there's a AIW 9600 inside. BUT it's bent up and out of the slot and into the motherboard. The computer works fine and the card doesn't look physically damaged... Ok enough of the story.
The issue is that I don't have the monkey cable that plugs into the card which allows you to plug in the monitor / RCA / ETC..
With the monitor still plugged into the motherboard video, I plug in the card and the computer seems to boot fine (no code beeps etc...) and seems to be loading up windows, but can't see anything. Is this because it defaults to the AGP port if there's a card plugged in there?? I just want install the drivers etc... and see if everything comes out kosher in Windows hardware before investing in the monkey cable. Advice on this situation? Thanks
