Hello guys, I'm running around looking for help and saw these forums, I'm going to give it a shot.
I got an ATI AIW 9800 Pro card just yesterday, and upon uninstalling my old Nvidia drivers (was using an Albatron Geforce FX 5600 Ultra) the computer boots up, but the monitor stays blank, as though the card were not there.
Intel D865PERL motherboard, updated BIOS just this morning
P4 2.4 GHZ 800MHZ FSB (HT is enabled)
1GB DDR RAM
AIW 9800 Pro
Windows XP (considering installing SP2 because it was recommended by the ATI site)
I've been looking around since this morning and I've seen this problem has happened to others and ATI recognizes it, but doesn't offer any direct fixes yet. Everything is plugged in properly and all, and changing the power load on the supply hasn't fixed anything either. Has anybody fixed this before and can offer advice?
