Hi speedx77x: it helps a lot because it pumps air to the heat sink and it runs fast too and makes noise, i don't have to control it i just plugged it in the 12v fan plug, this 12v fan plug had nothing in it, i guess was for the pci card,
 
I didn't think 6450s ran hot even with a passive heatsink. What brought you to do this? Yours just runs hot?

To tell you the truth i don't know how much heat they suppose to have ,but that it's hot it is:maybe because my power supply is only 260 w and is suggested by manufacturer 500w power supply !
