What would you guys take? X1900 models (Top of line ATI) or top of line nVidia (7950GS2 I think or possibly 2x7950GTXs).
Crossfire or SLI
Crossfire or SLI
Whats the reason for that?Motoxrdude said:I like SLI better, but i would rather have two x1900 then two 7950s.

ALI-G .
Crossfire x1900s won't hold a match to SLI 7950GX2s. That is a bit of an unfair comparisonChrisUlrich said:What would you guys take? X1900 models (Top of line ATI) or top of line nVidia (7950GS2 I think or possibly 2x7950GTXs).
this is true, that's like comparing four cards to two. not to mention the 7950GX2 uses two 512mb per card... 1gb of 256bit memory running in dual channel... thats like 1.2ghz memory, at 512bit. ATI mastered GDDR4, but 512bit is something they have yet to produce on a card.Bobo said:Crossfire x1900s won't hold a match to SLI 7950GX2s. That is a bit of an unfair comparison![]()

you would get it if you watched Ali-G which you should if you haven't.Burgerbob said:WTF?
I like Crossfire- the only problems is that you have to take them out of crossfire to watch a movie. Once some better cards from ATI come out, they will prob blow the 7950s of the water (gamingwise).
