ATI Crossfire

ok hopefully this isn't a stupid question

Anyhow I got my X1900XTX and on the box it says you need three things to run CrossFire.

1. Crossfire ready gpu (which I have, the X1900XTX)

2. Crossfire edition gpu (which is coming)

3. Crossfire ready motherboard? ... this is where I'm not sure about.

I ordered the MSI K8N Diamond Plus nForce4 SLI board ... will this work and allow me to run CrossFire? Or do I have to get a mobo with the CrossFire chipset?

You need to get a mobo with a ATI chipset that supports crossfire. A nForce4 SLI board will not work with ATI's crossife.

No, SLI is designed for Nvidia GPU's. You will need a "Crossfire" Mobo in order to run a Crossfire set-up
