You cant compare a single card to an entire series.

The x600 is a decent card, but it is a low-end card. I would say it's on par with the nVidia 6600. The 6 series still has the 6600GT, 6800GT, and 6800Ultra, which are alot better.

Thats a broad statement, theres alot of 6 series, a 6600gt or 6800gt will kick a X600s butt!

Actually, even geforce 6600 (not GT) is slightly faster than X600 and no this video card is not good for gaming. If you are a gamer then you should get a better video card.

It will play old games fine, but it's not a good card for gaming if you are planning on playing any fairly new game.

I never looked at the specs of both, but the 6600 is probably the closest contender to the x600. I believe the step below that is the 6200, so...
