Currently, I have a Radeon 9250. I seriously need a new Video Card. I do not know which card to get. I was thinking about the X800XL or XT. Actually, I don't know the difference.PLEASE! I need suggestions! ONLY HAVE AGP SLOT!

My computer Specs
Intel P4 CPU 800Ghz 3.0
Asus P5P800S motherboard
512 MB of RAM (DDR)
450 Power supply
160 GB

I don't need anything crazy, I just want to play games like AOE3, Rome:TW, and the Medival:TW game which is not out yet. I want to play them without lagging on high quality. THANKS.

I can afford below about 300 Dollars. Plus, I can wait untill Medival:TotalWar comes out. Thats why I want a new card. Because I know this card will not be able to run Medival:TW on high.

You would need a replacement since that's a discontinued item. Without a high price http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=3577574 has worked here quite well. For a little more then the Radeon 9550 offers the jump to the X1300 http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=3876432 also doubles the price.

What do you mean it's discontinued item?? And why would I need a replacement? Do you mean they do not make it anymore?? I saw actually quite a lot of them at Newegg. Sorry, don't know what you mean.

Isn't the 9550 worse then X800 series?? How much better is X1300 to X800 series??
The X800 is better than both the 9550 and the 1300.

Agreed. It's arguably the best AGP card around, although with this budget you might want to consider upgrading the mobo to something that supports PCI-E as well.

Thats actually what I am looking at right now. But I do not know which one to get.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...Ntk=all&N=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=0&Go.y=0
There are quite a few there. Also, I don't know if my powersupply is enough.

Although the requirments is only 350 for 7800GS, people say they have 380 Watt and its still not enough. My 12V is only 18A.
