ATI + Physx

Is there any way to make my CPU process Physx instead of my GPU in the ATI control panel? I sold my GTX 580 and bought a 7970. I want to play Mafia 2 with Physx at max but slows down to 10 FPS when Physx happens. Other games like Metro 2033 don't have any issue.

No you can't. PhysX is an nVidia thing and only nVidia cards can process it. Disable PhysX or get a dedicated card.

In Metro 2033 with Physx at max there is no slow down, Mafia 2 is the only game where it seems to take effect. I will probably take this card back and wait for Keplar to come out instead.

As voyagerfan said, it won't work on AMD cards. You can get a dedicated card, but even then it is a bit of a gamble whether you can get it to work. This is caused by a restriction (no AMD GPUs in the system) that nVidia has included in their drivers for quite a while. Using older nVidia drivers allows you to get past this issue, but that limits how new the nVidia GPU can be.
