It doesnt seem to be that much of an improvement over the 4870 from what i can see, just a little bit of a reworked core so it can attain higher clocks right?

and from a review i read its possible to clock them to around 1000mhz?

It's going to be a performer...the price is good also:good: Get a good name brand card for mid $200 range.
