ATI Radeon 5770 vs 5830?

Which card is better for gaming:n the ATO Radeon HD 5770 or 5830?

I know the 5830 is priced higher but I'm not too familiar with it.

the 5830 perform outstandingly.

Is it 87dtna that has posted up screenies of him with a 5830 with 3 monitors with eyefinity playing WaW on full? That is a hell of a card to drive that many pixels at once
 
The problem with the 5830 is it performs/benchmarks all over the place. Some its equal to a 4870, in others it performs almost as good as the 5850. Sorta of a hit and miss card. Should be a 180/190 buck card.

Those old benches were due to drivers not being mature, the performance from the 5830 is really quite good.

I've had a 5770 and it didnt perform that well to me. Sold it at a 20 buck loss just to get rid of it.

Goes for both the 5770 and 5830.

Not saying they suck. Some games they do really well, but others they just fall on their face.

You all have new benchmarks with a variety of games that show different, not just one game show me, really kinda of interested.
 
Like others said, if you can save up or whatever get a 5850, the 5830 is faster than the 5770 but the 5770 is not bad for its price. I don't see the value in the 5830 myself.
