I just bought this graphics card used (only opened for testing to ensure that it works) for $75. I was just wondering if there would be any problems with this card and my comp meshing. (1st computer in my sig) I’m kind of out of the loop-hole for graphics cards, but was wondering if this will be a pretty good cards for gaming and general use?

Thanks again for all your help! Sac

It's the midrange card of a previous generation, and about the best you'll find for an AGP card at its price. Don't expect high settings on graphics intensive games, but if you're happy with low-medium, or want to use it for older/less intensive games it will be fine. It's certainly much better than your 4200.

Provided you have an AGP slot, there shouldn't be any problems. Just make sure you remove the old video driver and install the new one.

To be perfectly honest, though, $75 is too much for this card, which is selling for $46 on newegg.

Humm... I couldnt find it on newegg, but I guess after you spend 45 and then add shipping and what not to it then it might be a little cheaper through them...Oh well..I paid a bit more...

Yeah the guy which sold it to me told me I need to remove all the drivers from my old card.

He told me he had a lot of people replying to his classified and some wanted to pay more than 75, so if all else fails I'll put it back on the market and make some money.

I just got the card installed and was messing around with the resolution settings and it does ok on High, but it seems to run the best on medium. I'm not super big gamer and I can live with the quality being on Medium.
Thanks for your help!
