Oblivion looked pretty graphics intensive. You should be able to run the game on low, but dont expect anything spectaculor.

yeah i know...peeps where telling me that i'll be able to run it on some low and some medium settings but it would still be look pretty good

all the pictures (screenshots) you see of oblivion are at ultra high settings and [usually] high resolutions. Keep in mind that you'll have to lower the gfx quite a bit to get decent framerates and the visuals wont really end up looking that great. I've seen screens of oblivion at low settings and it looks like a game that's a couple years old. However, the gameplay is fantastic so it would still be worth it.

Wanna know how it looks on an X300 SE? I took these 2 screenshots when I still had my X300 in.

These are the settings I played with, and it played good enough for me. I dont know the FPS cause I never decided to enable that when playing oblivion until after I replaced my card, but my guess is (outdoors) anywhere from 8-30 FPS, (indoors) 15-~60.

I'm sure theres not much difference between the X300 and the X300 SE.

Settings:
Texture - high
Distance lands, buildings and trees on, grass distance about half way. Dont remember ther other draw distances...
water detail full, blood detail full, shadows were set pretty low. Thats about all I can remember off the top of my head.
