8 months is a long time for video cards. And after reading it over some more, the x1600XT is a little better then my card, it gets a few hundred points higher in 3DMark05.

And the new X1000s are very overclockable. I've got my AI Overdrive bars both full, with an idling temp at 40*, and under stress never going over 70*

X1600's arent that bad of a card, and for $170 (like already mentioned) it is at a very good price.

nVidia has nothing of this quality for ~$170. Only problem with the X1000s is I hear the X1300 just sucks. Just too cheap.

i agree, its like the x300. It sound nice, but its really not.
