ATI Radeon X850 Pro

I am looking into buying a new video card soon. I ran across a Radeon X850 Pro AGP for $250 at compusa. It seems like a good card. But I'm worried that it might be stupid to buy a agp video card know. Do you guys think agp still has alot of life let (maybe 1-2 years)? I currently have the 9700 pro, I know its old but it can still handle all the games (just not the highest settings of course). Think it would be a wise upgrade or should I wait a couple of months?

AGP will be around for a while, in 1-2 years it wont be the best, but it will still be very good. But if your choosing between a PCI-E and AGP system, go with the PCI-E.

what pc do you have?
( what processor, RAM etc. )
bacaust, if the rest of the pc isnt really good. i would wait a little longer, and upgrade the whole system. but if the rest of the pc is pretty decent, i would go for the x850
