Anyone any exp with this chipset? The CPU and Mobo combo I want to get includes it, its 149.99 for a Socket 939 AMD64 3200+(Honestly i didn't even know this CPU existed) with a ECS RX480-A MOTHERBOARD

Although im about 90% sure i know the anwser to this question, but does it matter if I use a NVIDIA graphics card with this motherboard?

Is ther anything bad about this chipset? Does anyone have any xp with it? Any tips or info?

Also jsut to make sure the 3200 AMD64+ would work with dual chelle correct? :P

lol you can use an ATI card with an nvidia chipset so i dont know why it would be bad to go the other way around.
dual chelle? lol do you mean dual channel? if so, then all socket 939's do... socket A does as well, but 754 doesnt.

I'm fairly certain that socket A does not support Dual Channel.

I was mainly worried about the 3200+ supporting it because its more ofa beat down version thjen the rest of the A64's.

The Socket itself did, although many motherboard chipsets didn't, due to the limited performance gains using dual channel with the Athlon XP architecture.

Yes it does, but the 3200+ isn't really a 'beat down version'. It's not even the slowest chip of the S939 A64 lineup.

"more of a" but of corse not at all if you compare it to things like semperon to athlon, Thank you though for anwsering my question, They dont even register the 3200 socket 939 on AMDs website :/

Does anyone have any info on the chipset now that my other questions have been anwsered? This will be my first leave from Nforce in a while :/

They dont register the 3200+? its a very popular CPU... i have it... probably (exagerating) a quarter of the ppl here have it, its being manufactured, its on newegg...
