ATI user but...should i go with Nvidia???

Im looking into upgrading my xfx radeon hd 6870 BE. Im not sure if i wait and go with the new HD 7000 series in 2012, get a 6970/90 after price drop, or go with an nvidia card??? it seems to me nvidia will be most reliable for some reason.
 
I'm going back to nVidia at some point myself. Big selling point is PhysX, and the second selling point is my XFX 6870 constantly has driver crashes on my desktop. Currently testing it in another machine to see if I can replicate the problem.
