Hi guys, Im planning to buy an ATI HD4670 video card. But before I do that, I just want to know if it is compatible with my motherboard. I have this 2 mobos in my room.
a) MSI K9N6PGM2-V (Chipset: NVIDIA MCP61)

b) ASUS M2N68-AM (Chipset: NVIDIA Geforce 7025/nForce 630a)

I heard rumors that motherboards with NVIDIA chipset are not compatible with ATI video cards. Is this true? Kindly clarify. Thanks.

They are compatible. Video Cards do not discriminate between chipsets, (with the exception that AMD chipsets don't allow SLI) all you need is a good enough PSU and a PCIe x16 slot.

I see... I thought that because NVIDIA and ATI are rival companies, they dont allow each other's product to mix up...

Anyway, do NVIDIA chipsets allow Crossfire?

nope not offically, there are some custom drivers for the older Nforce4 SLI and Nforce 590SLI that allow Crossfire with custom Cataclyst drivers but most of this stuff supports at best the 38xx cards or older
