ATI's new 4800 cards!

Hmmm I don't know. ATI has been screwing up lately and is trying too hard to keep up with Nvidia. That's why I switched to Nvidia :D

yeah exactly why i went to nvidia,

the Flagship dual-GPU 4870 X2 cards with 2048 GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 1.73 GHz. The Radeon HD 4870 X2 will be introduced at a later date looks good to me but lets see what nvidia comes out with.

because DDR5 is more energy efficient I gues.

the 4x00 series is tweaked towards efficientcy again! way to go Ati :) I'm really curious what the performance will be like. if the jump aint too big, I'll go for a 2nd 3870, if its big, i'll get a 4870 instead ^^

IDK what to say on the subject. I didn't think ATI was falling behind nVidia, but it just may be the nVidia fanboys at it again.

What really intrigued me about this post was royalmarine's signature. Do you really have a custom made wooden case? Can I see some pictures of that?

Now im in a dillemma....

I was gonna get a 8800GTS (9800 is pointless)

Now with these coming out,

A) Nvidia will drop their prices
B) If they perform well i might get one (to crossfire later on...)
C) im gonna have to do this in may as my dad is going to usa in may, and your prices are like half of whatr our are....

i'd buy something like an 8800GT right now if i were you, the prices are great and it will hold you over easily untill something else comes out. i mean, not ten minutes ago i finished World In Conflict (extremely demanding from what i have seen) and not ONCE did my frames drop below 30, not a stagger the entire game. and this was at full max settings, with 2xAA
