I've heard alot of hype about ATI's next cards but does anyone know when they will be coming out, I heard one is as powerful as the card used with the XBox 360 and one twice of that. Please fill me in...

Its not really low-end, but I wouldnt call it high-end eitherits a G70 or G71, cant semember wich of the 2... but I wouldnt really call that low end tough.
true, the 8800's are better, but the G7x are still really good
i just don;t understand, if the graphic cards are as good of that for an xbox 360 than why are the graphics for pc so far below that of gaming systems...
Cromewell is right, and as I said earlier, the reason why consoles look better on lower-end hardware, is because all the consoles have the same exact hardware. So game designers can right code specifically for that consoles hardware, unlike where a PC game has to be compatible with many different combinations of motherboards, processors, video cards, etc.Because PCs are designed to do more than just play games. It takes more power to run a game on PC than on a console because the games for consoles are written specifically for the console instead of for general x86 based hardware.
The 360 uses an ATI processor http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenos
