Okay, so my internet is really pissing me off lately. I haven't been able to fix it for the life of me. Lately, my lag has gotten too great to enjoy online games anymore. I've tried the unplug for 30 seconds of the router and modem method to no avail, i've tried letting windows repair it. I'm on xp pro 32bit. The router is a Dlink DI-624 and the wireless card I am using is the Linksys WRT54G. The modem was supplied by the ISP(Brighthouse). Both my laptop and desktop sitting right next to each other show this problem.
Here's the two different speed tests that I have to show for it. Any other data that is needed, please let me know.
EDIT: also wanted to add that it is erratic. Here's one from a min ago:
I've done plenty of them now in the past 30 mins, and one minute its 90ms and the next its 2000ms. However, in games, the lag stays the same. Like, was just playing FFXI and my actions 2-3 seconds to actually take place in the game.
