I recently bought a new pc from pc world. It's the imedia x2416. This has a 7100 onboard graphcs hich is really crappy. I am looking to upgrade to the Sapphire Radeon HD 4830. The mobo inside the case is a mATX 250w and the case is mATX. Will i be able to fit a 500w or 700w ATX psu into the mATX case, and will it be able to power the motherboard properly as at the moment i cant afford to upgrade my motherboard.

Thanks

As diduknowthat said, it shouldn't be a problem. I was in a similar situation to you, with a micro ATX case and micro ATX motherboard, and I was able to install a 600 watt ATX powersupply and full size video card with no issues whatsoever.

Note though, that my case wasn't one of those slim type cases.
