Audacity Equilization Error

I am using Audacity to record some material, however, whenever i try to use a custom set equalizer rate, it gets about half way completed and the program stops working. I am doing all 4 tracks at the same time with a length of about 5 minutes. Also, i'm on Win 7 64-bit.

Try running the App in compatibility mode, and see if that works out for you

Tried in all compatibility setups and each encountered the same problem. It seems to only have this problem then i try to set the sample rates myself. The predefined sets work, although none of them are satisfactory.

Scratch that. I was not using the 1.3 win 7 beta version of Audacity, therefore, it did not have full compatibility. I discovered this at the expense of most of my project, but at least it can continue without hitches.

Guess that will teach me to watch for the release version from now on
