Audacity help

I just got the new verson of audacity and it wanted me to get
Lame_v3.98.2_for_Audacity_on_Windows.exe

So I did and installed it and it installed to C:/program files/audacity

I may miss type the Slsses

Anyway it works but wen I go to start programs it is not in the list why???

it installed into it??
 
I think that is the MP3 codec for Audacity, that thing that converts the audio you create into MP3. It simply gives the ability to save in MP3 format.

well what I ment is the Encoder installed into C Program Files.

Now wen anything els installs into here it goes into the Programs List.

But like I say wen I go to start programs it is not in the list why???
 
As I said, it gives you the possibility to save into MP3 format in audacity, that what it is for. It's not a separate application, just kind of like a plugin.
