Audio And Mouse Skipping

I thought I made a thread about this before, but can't find it. Anyways, my audio and mouse seem to be skipping again, I was wondering what it could be.. It happened earlier when I had iTunes, Pidgin, Steam and Firefox running, then I closed everything but Firefox and it was fine, then I restarted after installing some stuff, and am now watching a video online with only the browser running, and it started up again.

I think it was a problem with my secondary drive, I think I had it plugged in last time this happened, and I tried running a quick HD Tune scan on it, and it was slow and I tried stopping it and it froze, and when I did a quick scan on my main, it was fast and fine. So I unplugged the drive and it seems fine so far.
