Audio cable????

I'm building my first PC using this site... http://www.homepcbuilder.com/lessons/installation/lesson06/lesson06.html... But it says plug the audio cable from the DVD-ROM drive in... I can not find this cable andywhere!!! Can someone give my some direction on where to find it!!

Don't worry about it. It has to do with older drives where you would use an analog cable to transfer audio from the drive to the sound card. Audio is now transferred digitally from the drive through the IDE cable.

o well i finally found it anyways... should I put it in just in case. could it do anything bad to the comp??

IT would just make one more cable to work around, I'm not sure if it would be detrimental. Why bother if you don't have to though?
