Assuming this is a motherboard driver issue, my audio crackles and pops evertime i scroll down itunes, internet explorer, do anything really. No idea whats going i've tried rolling back drivers which hasnt seemed to work i'm at a loss please help

I don't think it is the motherboard. It could be your sound card or even your LAN card. Try this link it will check your audio for any issues. Also check the manufacturer of the LAN card for any drivers updates or for original settings of the LAN card.
