i just thought id post this becuase this game doesnt have as many players as it should in my opinion and anyone bored with guild wars, wow, or city of heroes should give this game a try (i still think you can get a trial or something) -

surprisingly, its really fun.
its fast, easy to level, good-looking for that genre, and a good story

the gameplay is really fast and cool - going 80mph and hitting little people with spikes on the front of your car and seeing them explode is pretty cool compared to the spell casting/sword swinging at odd looking enemies as in other mmorpgs - groups are easy to find and the community is solid
mining is done by blowing buildings up with the cool physics engine (anything you see is pretty much destructable with good physics) and crafting is interesting though the game still has some things to work on

Pretty stiff requirements...

* Windows ® 2000/XP
* 2.5GHz Processor
* 1GB RAM
* DVD-ROM
* 10GB free hard disk space
* NVIDIA ® FX 5950 or ATI ® Radeon 9800 series video card
* Sound card with Dolby ® Digital Live required for Dolby ® Digital audio
* Broadband Internet Connection

2.5GHz? 10GB? I'll try to play it...probably won't succeed...

thanks man thats expensive for that game i guess ill have to think about buying it.

I have a 14-day trial key if you'd like to try the game. PM me if you're interested..

yea ive got that too, i got it for free when i bought guild wars at ebgames, some promotional thing - if you buy any guild war product, you get auto assault free - its 15$ a month and a 50$ game - after playing it now, i probably wouldnt have paid that much for it, but its a pretty solid game if you have the money to spend and are bored

Not too bad minimum, but still pretty high.

PC Operating System Windows 2000, Windows XP
PC System Memory 512MB RAM
PC Hard Drive Space 6GB
PC Video 64MB ATI Radeon 8500 or NVIDIA GeForce 3 video card
PC Sound Card DirectSound-compatible sound card
PC Drive Type and Speed CD-ROM 16x
PC Modem 56.6 Kbps
PC Additional Requirements DirectX 9.0c

I havent played it, so maybe some of you that have would know, but It looks and sounds a lot like the game twsited metal for the origianl playstation.

it's massive too - an amazing amount of missions, not really repetative, but various enough to enjoy - about as unique as they can be in a mmorpg - good story - a nice change

Yeah, it sounds like the Twisted Metal series for Playstation, and I still refuse to pay a montly fee for an online game, just not enough of an extra draw to make me want it... I'd rather play GW or BF2 online for free or the multiplayer mode of Civ 4, Starcraft or many other games that I already have that paying over $250 for just one game over one year!!! :eek:
