Auto load problem

For some peculiar reason my PC has started loading and running Real Player whenever I switch it on. I have tried removing it from the start menu but then get a warning that the start menu has been altered every time I switch on.

Can someone help me with this please? I just don't want Real Player to auto run every time I switch on. Help !!!

PS I am running Windows XP

maybe this will help, go to start, run, type msconfig.exe, press enter, a window will pop up, go to startup tab, and untick anything with realplayer in it. that in theory should stop it. hope it helps
