Auto tabbing in Firefox

How do i make it so when i click on a link in Firefox it doesn't automatically switch me over to the new tab. I still want it to open in a new tab i just don't want it to auto switch me to the new tab.

Go to Tools>Options>Tabs and click the bubble for Open page in New Window

K I did that restarted FF and it still keeps switching me.

if you click "when i open a new tab, switch to it immediately" does that work?

If you left-click a link, it opens in a new tab and switches to that tab. However, if you right-click the link and click "Open Link in New Tab", it will open in a new tab but not switch to that tab. Also, if you middle-click a link (assuming you have a 3-button mouse), it will do the same thing. So just middle-click instead of left-click when you don't want to switch to the new window. After a while, you start doing it without even thinking. Hope this helps.

Mine I hit Ctrl T and a new tab opens but I want it to come up to my homepage and it goes to untitled which sucks, anyway around that?

if you have a scroll button, simply click the link with the scroll button (mouse3) and it opens in a new tab
