Automatic Encrypt

Hey my computer is automatically Encrypting every file on my computer. If i create something new, save something, or get something from someone it will automatically throw an Encrypt thing on it and I need to go into the files property and advanced and take it off which sometimes causes problems. I tried to find the way to take it off but can't seem to find it. So can someone help?

Are you by chance saving items in a private folder, or did you make your home directory (ie, my documents) a private folder? In doing so windows will automatically encrypt all data inside.

This is fine, until your computer crashes and you don't have any back ups.

I would look into your folder settings and make the folder a 'non-private' one
