Avast and windows vista mail

How do i get the newest avast to integrate with my windows mail? It doesnt seem to be working... Also, is the firewall and spyware software included with it decent enough for someone who doesnt download music, download random stuff, play games, go on innapropriate sites or anything else that may challenge security?

hmm my avast was automatically linked with vista mail when i installed it. I get warnings on half the spam mail i get.

Is it internet mail or outlook/exchange? I would think interner mail would be an IMAP server.

Ok ok i figured it out. Vista mail is considered an "internet mail" program. Weird.

Would download mcafee every 30 days work?

mcafee what? I find McAfee and norton both too intrusive for my tastes. Stick with avast.
