Avast will not go away

Antivir will not go away

Pretty much when I go to get rid of Avast it prompts me with "Setup could not determine the feature control file or was not able to read it correctly" so how do I get rid of it?

**Note my mistake it is not Avast that will not go away it is Antivir. Sorry for the confusion**

Reboot into safemode and try to remove it...if you still cant manually remove all the files.

reinstall then uninstall. reinstalling will add any missing files so you can uninstall it.
