Average cost per page for Inkjet

What is the average cost per page when you print only with black ink (text files) with an inkjet printer?

I have an Canon iP1300
It's the most affordable printer around here. I use ordinary print paper.

If you have an answer, please tell me if your price includes the paper or not...

This would all be dependant on the size and cost of the ink cartidge, type of paper and cost. ALSO someone would have to know the quality the printer is using.

Many variables.
 
Ink catridge:
cost= 30$
size= 40
Quality of printing= Normal

I would only like to know the average cost per page. I don't need an accurate number....
I just print text with normal quality with a very average printer.

Could it be 0.35$/page? 0.03$/page? I really don't know... Can you give me an estimation?

lol. i did this before. i do not remember the results but i can tell you a laser printer will save you like 30 $ over a cartage or something.

My friend printed me a text document.
I want to give him some money for that. I just want an estimation.

The page yield of that cartridge is 450 pages. At $20 USD, that comes to about 4.4 cents per page at 5% coverage per page. So, that'll give you a benchmark to work from.
